The name of the cape was giv­en in hon­or of the French mil­i­tary leader Louis-Balbes de Cril­lon by the great French nav­i­ga­tor Jean-François de La Per­ouse in 1896. You can get to Cape Cril­lon by water or by SUV. From here there are very beau­ti­ful views where you can relax and enjoy the sur­round­ing nature. In clear weath­er, the coast of Japan is vis­i­ble from here. There is also an oppor­tu­ni­ty to take a cool pho­to against the back­drop of the old light­house, a real pearl of the island.
