Lake Water­ton is locat­ed in the south of the Cana­di­an province of Alber­ta, as well as in the north of the Amer­i­can state of Mon­tana. The total area of ​​the reser­voir is just over 11 square kilo­me­ters. The depth of the lake reach­es 150 meters, mak­ing it the deep­est lake in the Rocky Moun­tains.
