Built in 1912 to serve Palmnicken’s amber-min­ing plant, it show­cas­es Brick Expres­sion­ism with red brick­work, carved stone accents, and arched win­dows. Inside lies an 800 m³ rein­­forced-con­crete reser­voir and a cen­tral spi­ral stair­case lead­ing to a 27 m‑high view­ing gallery. After decades of dis­use, it was restored in 2015–2016 and con­vert­ed into a mini-muse­um of the amber trade, dis­play­ing tools and amber spec­i­mens.
