The Roman Catholic Cathe­dral of the Vil­nius Arch­­dio­cese-Metrop­o­lis, it was giv­en the hon­orary sta­tus of a minor basil­i­ca. Locat­ed in the his­tor­i­cal cen­ter of Vil­nius at the foot of Cas­tle Hill. Near­by there is a bell tow­er. The build­ing in its cur­rent form is an exam­ple of clas­si­cism archi­tec­ture.
