Princess von Thurn and Taxis, her son and sis­ter live in the palace. The fam­i­ly belongs to one of the old­est fam­i­lies of the Holy Roman Empire and is the founder of the mod­ern Ger­man postal ser­vice. The palace hosts var­i­ous kinds of events: in the sum­mer, out­door con­certs with the par­tic­i­pa­tion of world famous stars (Elton John, Tom Jones, ZAZ, etc.) (tick­ets €200–400), in Decem­ber — the most inter­est­ing and col­or­ful Christ­mas mar­ket (entrance to the mar­ket paid).
