The active male monastery and a whole com­plex of build­ings attached to it are the church of St. George, a refec­to­ry of the 16th cen­tu­ry, a bath­house, a bell tow­er, an epis­co­pal palace, a win­ery and a huge ancient qvevri assem­bled from the wreck­age. The so-called grape muse­um is locat­ed at the monastery — more than 500 vari­eties of grapes grow here, includ­ing rare and once lost ones.
