Also called St. Archangel Michael’s Cathe­dral, it is locat­ed near the Bel­grade Fortress (Kale­meg­dan park). Built between 1837 and 1840, with a rich­­ly-dec­o­rat­ed inte­ri­or. Across the church is the build­ing of Patri­archy, the seat of Ser­bian Ortho­dox Church. Two of the most sig­nif­i­cant lin­guists of Ser­bian his­to­ry, Vuk Karada­iA and Dositej ObradoviA, are buried in front of the church.
