Planted in the early 1960s to stabilize dunes at km 37 on the Curonian Spit near the Round Dune. Young pines, deformed by pine shoot moth or shifting sands, grow into rings, spirals, hearts and other “dancing” shapes along the wooden boardwalk trail.
