His­toric fish restau­rant and cock­tail bar in the old part of Havana. The estab­lish­ment is famous for its daiquiris and for being one of Ernest Hem­ing­way’s favorite hang­outs in Havana. The bar now boasts a life-size bronze stat­ue of Ernest Hem­ing­way in his favorite spot at the end of the bar. A small plaque hang­ing at El Floridi­ta bears a quote signed by Hem­ing­way: “My moji­to at the Bode­gui­ta del Medio and my daiquiri at the Floridi­ta.”
