Built by Kempe Gow­da, this tem­ple with four remark­able mono­lith­ic pil­lars is ded­i­cat­ed to Lord Shi­va. The tem­ple also has a rare idol of ”Agni” god of fire. The annu­al fes­ti­val is on ”Makara Shankran­ti” and thou­sands of devo­tees flock to see the suns rays fall on the ”Shiv­lin­ga”.
