Locat­ed about 10 km south­east of Curaçao’s coast, the island is a trop­i­cal par­adise with white sand, turquoise water, and an aban­doned light­house. It was once used as a quar­an­tine zone for slaves and lat­er for phos­phate min­ing. Today it’s a pop­u­lar spot for snor­kel­ing, div­ing, and beach relax­ation.
