The mosque was built in the Sudanese-Sahe­lian archi­tec­tur­al style. The dimen­sions of the mosque are small — only 8 by 8 meters, while the build­ing has four entrances: for elders, for men, for women and for the muezzin. The beams form­ing the wood­en frame pro­trude out­wards from the walls — this is a char­ac­ter­is­tic fea­ture of Sudanese-Sahe­lian archi­tec­ture. But the walls are made of clay, and in con­di­tions of high humid­i­ty and fre­quent rains, it must be strength­ened annu­al­ly with new lay­ers of clay.
