Maline Lake is the largest lake in Jasper Nation­al Park and the largest nat­ur­al lake in the Cana­di­an Rock­ies. The length of the lake is 22.5 km, the great­est width is 1.5 km. The height above sea lev­el is 1670 meters. The lake receives its food from the riv­er of the same name, and its flow also comes from this riv­er.

The lake is sur­round­ed by moun­tain peaks and is very pic­turesque. It is a pop­u­lar tourist attrac­tion and pos­si­bly the most pho­tographed lake in the world.
