The Mari Chodra Nation­al Park is one of the most beau­ti­ful cor­ners of our state, the pearl of the Mari region. Its call­ing card is right­ful­ly the purest lakes and springs, deep rivers, forests with their diver­si­ty of flo­ra and fau­na. The ter­ri­to­ry of the nation­al park includes nat­ur­al com­plex­es and objects of the Mid­dle Vol­ga region that have spe­cial eco­log­i­cal, his­tor­i­cal and aes­thet­ic val­ue, which are intend­ed for use for envi­ron­men­tal, edu­ca­tion­al, sci­en­tif­ic, cul­tur­al pur­pos­es and for reg­u­lat­ed tourism.
