An excel­lent muse­um of its type. Too often neglect­ed by vis­i­tors to Athens, even though it is in the heav­i­ly tourist­ed Pla­ka neigh­bour­hood. Dis­plays include arte­facts, tools, prim­i­tive paint­ing, folk pot­tery and inte­ri­or decor. It is par­tic­u­lar­ly strong on cos­tume and embroi­dery.
