Menkau­re was prob­a­bly the son and suc­ces­sor of Khafre. His pyra­mid is the small­est here at 62m (203ft) high, orig­i­nal­ly 66.5 m. Entry to the inte­ri­or is on the north flank. Along the south flank are his Queens’ pyra­mids, and on the east flank is his funer­ary tem­ple.
