Large­ly unknown, the moun­tain is actu­al­ly one of the most ancient geo­log­i­cal for­ma­tions on the plan­et, with its roots back in the Pre­cam­bri­an peri­od more than two bil­lion years ago. It lurch­es ver­ti­cal­ly from the ground, soar­ing 400-meters straight up from the grass­lands and woods below.
