A his­toric palace that hous­es the munic­i­pal­i­ty of Rome and the exhi­bi­tions of the Capi­to­line Muse­um, the main of which are the Lap­i­dar­i­um and the ruins of the Tab­u­lar­i­um. Oth­er expo­si­tions of the Palace of Sen­a­tors are usu­al­ly closed due to the work of the munic­i­pal­i­ty.
