Named after the local term for an inlet, it is renowned for its breath­tak­ing blow­holes, beach­es and bays where sea tur­tles often nest. Pro­tect­ed as part of a park since 1994, the rough and rugged coast­line looks almost oth­er­world­ly in nature as ginor­mous waves pound its sparse vol­canic land­scapes. Hik­ing about is an epic expe­ri­ence as you pass tan­gled trees and strange rock for­ma­tions before emerg­ing at a phe­nom­e­nal view­point. Boka Tabla’s half-sub­­merged cav­ern and the Nat­ur­al Bridge also attract­ing lots of atten­tion.
