The City Hall is open to the pub­lic, so you can stroll through the hall­ways, stairs, and study all the paint­ings, fres­coes, and oth­er dec­o­ra­tions on your own. Guid­ed tours cost 30 Kr for the main build­ing (in Dan­ish, Eng­lish and Ger­man at 10am to 3pm depend­ing on time of year and lan­guage of tour) and 20 Kr for the tow­er tour (at noon Mon-Sat and 10am, 2pm from June to Sep­tem­ber). There is a nice lit­tle gar­den that can­not be seen from out­side the city hall. The city hall is also home of ”Jens Olsen’s World Clock” — this mechan­i­cal mas­ter­piece of a com­plete astro­nom­i­cal clock is locat­ed in the foy­er.
