The largest church in Ser­bia and one of the largest Ortho­dox church­es in the world, under con­struc­tion since 1935. Unique­ly in Bel­grade, it is more often known and sign­post­ed as a ”tem­ple” rather than a ”church”, but in Ortho­dox Chris­tian­i­ty these are syn­onyms. Inte­ri­or dec­o­ra­tion is not yet fin­ished, how­ev­er vis­i­tors have access to the north aisle and the crypt which are com­plete and in use. Locat­ed on KaraÄ‘orÄ‘e’s plateau in the Vračar area of Bel­grade.
