The bay ful­ly lives up to its name — it is hid­den from the winds, there are almost no strong waves here. It is also very shal­low — not far from the shore the depth is only 1.5 meters, so in the sum­mer it is always crowd­ed. Espe­cial­ly in August, when the water warms up to 20 degrees. There is enter­tain­ment here not only in sum­mer — there are gaze­bos on the shore, you can go fish­ing, look for sakhali­n­ite — peb­bles of local amber, or admire the sur­round­ing veg­e­ta­tion. And if you go north from the bay, beyond the cape, you will come across water­falls, a rocky out­crop and the Qui­et Nat­ur­al Park.
