Ushua­ia’s his­to­ry is close­ly tied to this 14-kilo­­me­ter rail­way — the city was a penal colony, and the rail­road was con­struct­ed by inmates. Now open to tourists since 1994, the route runs from the End of the World Sta­tion to the Nation­al Park Sta­tion. Dur­ing the jour­ney, tourists will enjoy spec­tac­u­lar views of the Pipo Riv­er Val­ley as well as La Macare­na Falls.
